A little under a year since I read just kids. It was amazing and gave me a major nerd-crush on Patti Smith. Because of the shit storm that was my life at the time (moving home, trying to lay roots after ten wayward random disjointed years, coming out, having my heart ripped to shreds by someone I trusted), it was at the same time devastating, comforting, and yes, impossibly cool.
